The Executive Mosaic GovCon Index (GCI) reversed its positive direction to close down slightly 0.278 percent to 109.246 with declining shares outpacing advancing 18 to 12.
As we begin Q3 earnings season the three major indices closed to the positive with all three reaching new highs. The S&P500 gained 0.18 percent to 2,555.24, while the DJIA closed at 22,872.89 up 0.18 percent,  and the NASDAQ Composite advanced 0.25 percent at 6,603.55.
WTI crude oil on the NY Mercantile Exchange closed up for the second day to remain north of the $50.00. At closing time WTI settled at $51.32 per barrel, up 0.79 percent.
