The U.S. Navy has awarded spots on a potential five-year, $99 million contract to five companies for repair and maintenance of the service branch’s naval communications towers and adjacent support facilities.

The Defense Department said Monday task orders under the multiple-award contract may cover design; engineering analysis; plan and specification preparation; equipment fabrication, construction and refurbishment; and structure coating services.

The Naval Facilities Engineering and Expeditionary Warfare Center received nine proposals for the indefinite delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through the Navy Electronic Commerce Online portal.

Awardees are:

  • Antensan USA
  • Long Wave
  • Shape Construction
  • Sitemaster
  • Tower Inspection

Shape Construction received a one-year, $3.4 million task order under the IDIQ contract to maintain and repair three communications towers at Naval Computer and Telecommunications Area Master Station Atlantic Detachment in Cutler, Maine.
