BAE to Produce More Rocket Laser-Guidance Kits Under New Navy Contract

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 12, 2017 — BAE Systems will provide additional Advanced Precision Kill Weapon System guidance kits under a $59.5 million follow-on contract from the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the APKWS guidance kits are designed to convert standard-size unguided rockets into laser-guided munitions in support of U.S. military and allied foreign customers.
