VIDEO: Communicating with NASA’s Cassini Spacecraft

There are many technological features on Cassini that have enabled NASA to communicate with the spacecraft and allowed scientists to gather some of the worlds most advanced information and research regarding Saturn and its moon, Titan. Specifically, data from the spacecraft uses two General Dynamics Deep Space Transponders, which are chiefly responsible for all direct to Earth communication activities between Cassini and the Deep Space Network.
