General Atomics to Demo MDA Configured Reaper UAVs

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 14, 2017 — A General Atomics business unit will demonstrate configured MQ-9 Reaper unmanned aerial vehicles for the Missile Defense Agency during test activities under a $30.3 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Defense Department said Tuesday General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems will perform contract work as part of two ballistic missile defense system tests and five continental U.S. tests in Alabama, Arizona and New Mexico.
