Engility to Develop Modeling Tools to Support Air Force Munitions Test

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 12, 2017 — Engility (NYSE: EGL) will provide multispectral and multimodal phenomenology modeling tools in support of research and development activities for a U.S. Air Force weapon systems testing program under a $49 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the contract covers support for the Kinetic Kill Vehicle Hardware-in-the-Loop Simulator as the Air Force works to advance and eventually transition munitions through guidance simulation.
