IBM Eyes Sole-Source Air Force Contract for Statistical Analysis Software


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 22, 2017 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) anticipates a sole-source contract from the U.S. Air Force for the delivery of a statistical analysis software package to the Air University, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The service branch said in a FedBizOpps sources sought notice posted Friday that it requires an enterprise-level software that can be installed on an Air Force server and on .mil workstations as well as have a “point and click” design for ease of use.
