Boeing Sets Up Avionics Business in Push for Tech Insourcing


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 2, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has established a business unit that will work to produce aircraft controls and electronics systems in efforts to drive technology insourcing, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Fox Business reported Monday the new Boeing Avionics organization will target the market for commercial and military aircraft navigation and flight controls under the leadership of Allan Brown, vice president and program director for missile defense national teams at the company.
