Boeing-General Dynamics Team Unveils Modified Stryker With SHORAD Capability


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 11, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) and General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) land systems business have demonstrated a reconfigured Stryker armored vehicle equipped with the Avenger short-range air defense unit at the Space & Missile Defense Symposium, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Defense News reported Wednesday the team unveiled the Manuever SHORAD Launcher Stryker system as the companies seek to address a gap in the U.S. Army‘s SHORAD capabilities in Europe.
