PACIFIC OCEAN (July 21, 2017) The guided-missile destroyer USS Chafee (DDG 90) launched an SM-2 missile during UNITAS 2017. The annual, multi-national exercise focuses on strengthening existing regional partnerships and encourages establishing new relationships through the exchange of maritime mission-focused knowledge and expertise during multinational training operations.
