TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 6, 2017 — Leidos (NYSE: LDOS) Senior Vice President, Defense Health & International Jerry Hogge has lauded the Department of Veterans Affairs‘ move to adopt a commercial electronic health record system that is interoperable with that of the Defense Department, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

“The VA secretary’s decision to accelerate getting the DoD and VA on a common electronic health record system represents a profoundly important milestone for our nation’s veterans, their families and beneficiaries,” Hogge, deputy president of the Leidos Health business, told E-Commerce Times in a report published Friday.

Leidos worked with Accenture and Cerner in 2015 to deploy a commercial EHR technology with DoD’s Military Health System.
