Inmarsat’s Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch Urges Commercial-Focused Gov’t Strategy for Integrated Satcom Architecture

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 25, 2017 — Rebecca Cowen-Hirsch, senior vice president for government strategy and policy at Inmarsat, has said the commercial satellite communications industry will play a key role to facilitate a unified and integrated satcom architecture for government, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Cowen-Hirsch wrote in a MilsatMagazine article that the U.S. government needs an integrated satcom architecture and a strategy for greater adoption of and access to commercial satcom technologies in order to leverage innovation.
