Boeing, Air Force, NAVAIR Conduct Electromagnetic Tests on KC-46 Tanker

TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 31, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has worked with the U.S. Air Force and Naval Air Systems Command to conduct a series of electromagnetic tests on the company’s KC-46 aerial refueling aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The completed tests across several locations served to verify the tanker’s safe operations through electromagnetic fields under conditions that replicate real-world missions, Boeing said Thursday.
