BAE Named Prime Contractor in State Dept-Cleared Missile Warning System Sale to Netherlands


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 12, 2017 — The Netherlands could soon deploy BAE Systems-built AN/AAR-57A(V)7 Common Missile Warning Systems after the State Department cleared the country’s proposed $58.2 million purchase of the technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Defense Security Cooperation Agency said Monday the potential foreign military sale of 32 CMWS units for the Netherlands’ AH-64D Apache helicopters as well as associated support services is intended to build on the country’s homeland defense as well as regional security and coalition operations.
