Gene Colabatistto: CAE to Utilize Big Data Analytics to Update Training Systems

TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 26, 2017 — CAE (NYSE: CAE) aims to utilize mission playback data and analytics to generate insights that would work to address training challenges and optimize future flight training systems, ExecutiveBiz reported June 19.

AIN Online reported June 17 that Gene Colabatistto, president of CAE’s defense and security group, outlined company efforts to identify maneuvers, procedures or exercises where students are having difficulties in order to modify training programs accordingly.

Colabatistto, who attended the Paris Air Show, also indicated that distributed training and cybersecurity are two areas that CAE is looking to explore.
