TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 2, 2017 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) is looking into potential long-term business opportunities in Romania beyond the possible sale of company-built missiles for the country’s Deveselu ballistic missile defense platform, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

ACTMedia reported Friday that Tom Vecchiolla, president of Raytheon International, revealed the plan to Mihai Tudose, Romania’s economy minister, during a meeting that also included other company executives such as Caroline Cooper, who is the regional director for Europe.
