Hughes Unveils Managed SD-WAN Service for Government Customers


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 24, 2017 — Hughes Network Systems has added a software-defined wide-area network service to its portfolio for public sector customers in support of their efforts to ensure cloud readiness, application availability and network flexibility, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Monday the Hughes Software Defined Wide Area Network utilizes Hughes ActiveTechnologies such as ActivePath, ActiveQoS, ActiveClassifier and ActiveCompression to enable network support for applications such as video and VoIP.
