Poland Eyes Potential $7B Deal for Raytheon’s Patriot Missile Defense Batteries by November


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 4, 2017 — Poland’s government is working to finalize its plan to purchase eight Raytheon-built (NYSE: RTN) Patriot air and missile defense system batteries under a potential $7.5 billion deal by November, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

Defense News reported Friday the country is set to submit an updated letter of request to the U.S. government regarding the proposed transaction as part of Poland’s Wisla program that seeks to address Russian activities in eastern Europe.
