Boeing Secures Navy Contract for F-18 Service Life Assessment, Extension

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 27, 2017 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) will perform work to extend the service life of the U.S. Navy‘s F/A-18E/F Super Hornet aircraft beyond 6,000 flight hours under a $49.8 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The Defense Department said Tuesday the company will support the Service Life Assessment Program and Service Life Extension Program through April 2021.
