Unisys, Australian Research Agency to Utilize Data Analytics for Border Security Program

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 15, 2017 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) will help Australia’s scientific research agency CSIRO build a data analytics platform that will work to identify security risks at land, air and sea entry points, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said March 7 that it will collaborate with CSIRO’s data science unit Data61 to conduct research and develop a proof of concept to determine risks at international borders using data sets from airlines as well as machine learning and analytics technology.
