Eleven firms have secured spots under a potentialÂ $9.9 billion U.S. Army contract that coversÂ foreign language services toÂ the Defense Language Interpretation Translation Enterprise program.
Contract work will occur through March 26, 2027, and the Army will determine work locations and funds with eachÂ taskÂ order, the Defense Department said Thursday .
Twenty bids were submitted to theÂ Army Intelligence and Security Command through an online solicitation.
The service branchÂ initially selected nine companies to offerÂ foreign language services under theÂ potential 10-year contract.
