TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 1, 2017 — ViON has been named the top small business fundraising company during the 2016 Greater Washington Heart Walk event for raising $30,000 in support of the American Heart Association’s research efforts, GovCon Executive reported Tuesday.

“It was incredible to see the entire staff organize and participate in nearly a dozen internal events leading up to the Walk… all to rally our team and reach our goal,” Liz Anthony, senior vice president of marketing at ViON and chairman of the 2016 Executives with Heart campaign, said in a statement published Monday.

“Heart disease and stroke is so personal to me and many of our colleagues and it’s a powerful motivator knowing that our efforts as a team are directly supporting life-changing research,” she added.
