Lockheed-Built Updated C-130J Goes Through Test at Little Rock AFB


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 10, 2017 — A Lockheed Martin-built (NYSE: LMT) C-130J Super Hercules with Block 8.1 updates has undergone a training flight at Little Rock Air Force Base as the U.S. Air Force seeks to validate the aircraft’s new hardware and software, Executive Gov reported Wednesday.

The service branch said Tuesday tests will occur over the next two years and focus on the C-130J Block 8.1’s GPS, communications, friend-or-foe identification and other systems.
