CenturyLink Secures FCC Task Order for MTIPS Deployment; Erich Sanchack Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 16, 2017 — CenturyLink (NYSE: CTL) has secured an $875,000 task order from the Federal Communications Commission to support FCC’s information technology center in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Feb. 9 it will deliver managed trusted internet protocol services in efforts to facilitate internet and external network connectivity as well as compliance to the Office of Management and Budget‘s Trusted Internet Connection program.

“CenturyLink looks forward to providing its market-leading MTIPS infrastructure to the FCC’s Gettysburg IT center and helping protect both the center and the commission from network attacks,” said Erich Sanchack, senior vice president and general manager of CenturyLink’s federal government business.
