Boeing Extends Sustainment Support for Air Force GPS II Constellations


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 6, 2017 — The U.S. Air Force has tasked Boeing (NYSE: BA) to extend its sustainment support for the service branch’s on-orbit Global Positioning System II satellites for another five years, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Thursday it will help sustain the GPS IIA and IIF satellites as it works with the military branch on its next-generation GPS development efforts.
