Raytheon Gets Air Force Contract Modification for Lot 3 Small Diameter Bomb II Production

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 31, 2017 — Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) missile systems business has secured a $62.5 million contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to manufacture 312 lot 3 Small Diameter Bomb II munitions and 413 single weapon containers, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday the company will also provide 24 SDB II weapon load crew and conventional munitions maintenance trainers, 20 weapon conversions for guided test vehicles, 20 production reliability incentive demonstration effort captive vehicles and associated data.
