AIDC Starts Update Work on Taiwan’s Lockheed-Built F-16s


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 26, 2017 — Aerospace Industrial Development Corp. has begun to implement updates to Taiwan’s fleet of Lockheed Martin-built (NYSE: LMT) F-16 Fighting Falcon aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Taiwanese state-owned AIDC stated that it expects to complete the modernization work on 144 F-16s in six years with four jets currently undergoing updates at the company’s Taichung facility, Defense News reported Tuesday.
