The General Services Administration has issued a notice to proceed for the small-business portion of a potential $11.5 billion governmentwide acquisition contract vehicle meant to help agencies accessÂ customized human capital strategy, organizational performance, training and development support services.
Stephanie Kenitzer, a GSA community manager, writes inÂ a blog entryÂ posted Nov. 28 the agency reserved 37 small-business positions on theÂ Human Capital and Training SolutionsÂ contract.
She added the agency awarded 79 spots in the unrestricted track of theÂ HCaTS procurement vehicle.
The agency announced 109Â winning vendorsÂ for theÂ HCaTS and HCaTS SB contracts in May and issued a notice to proceed forÂ the unrestricted portion of the vehicleÂ in September.
GSA createdÂ HCaTS in partnershipÂ with the Office of Personnel Management‘s Training and Management Assistance Program, which supports a strategic movement to optimize human capital transactions across the government.
