DCS has secured a five-year, $40 million contract to support the Naval Research Laboratory’s efforts to develop an intelligence surveillance and reconnaissance sensor technology.

The company said Monday it will conduct studies with the ultimate goal to provide a system that will work to help intelligence analysts manage workloads as well as increase operator efficiency and target detection and tracking capacity.

DCS added it plans to integrate soft biometrics data, human detection, segmentation algorithms and machine learning tools into the project.

The company also seeks to leverage its advanced sensor, exploitation research and naval requirement analysis experience to support NRL’s research and development efforts.
