California Teachers’ Retirement Fund Taps NTT Data for SAP System Maintenance; Tim Conway Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Dec. 16, 2016 — NTT Data (NYSE: NTT) will operate and maintain the SAP-based business management platform of the California State Teachers’ Retirement System as part of a five-year agreement, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

“CalSTRS was seeking a vendor that would be able to support expansion of their SAP system, while also providing a vision for their future within the SAP environment and integration across their entire IT portfolio, ” Tim Conway, president of NTT Data’s public sector group, said in a company release issued Tuesday.

The company will provide on-site maintenance services in support of CalSTRS’ Business Direct system to help expand the pension fund’s business applications and services.
