Turkey to Acquire Second Batch of Lockheed-Built F-35 Jets

2016lockheedmartinlogoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 2, 2016 — Turkey’s defense procurement panel is set to acquire a second batch of Lockheed Martin-built (NYSE: LMT) F-35 Lightning II fighter aircraft through the multinational Joint Strike Fighter program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Defense News reported Monday the country aims to build a new-generation aircraft fleet by 2023 comprised of the F-35 and the TFX indigenous aircraft.
