Orbital ATK, NASA Eye Oct. 13 Launch for Latest Cygnus Delivery to ISS

Orbital ATKTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 6, 2016 — An Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) Cygnus spacecraft will launch Oct. 13 to transport 5, 100 pounds of supplies and research to the International Space Station as part of the company’s Commercial Resupply Services contract with NASA, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The space agency said in a blog post published Tuesday the team plans to ship the spacecraft to the launch pad at the Mid-Atlantic Regional Spaceport in Virginia by Oct. 11.
