Orbital ATK, Airbus to Build Eutelsat Satellite to Serve Europe, North Africa


deep spaceTYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 12, 2016 — Orbital ATK (NYSE: OA) and Airbus will build a new satellite for Eutelsat Communications that will eventually serve European and North African video markets, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Eutelsat said Tuesday Orbital ATK will produce the platform for the future EUTELSAT 5 West B satellite while Airbus’ defense and space business will supply the payload.
