Harris Delivers 1st Satellite Receiver for Raytheon’s GPS OCX Program

GPS IIITYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 3, 2016 — Harris Corp. (NYSE: HRS) has delivered the first GPS Operational Control System satellite receiver to Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) following electromagnetic interference tests, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Space News reported Thursday the satellite receiver is the first of 34 due for the ground system of the U.S. Air Force‘s GPS III constellation.
