TYSONS CORNER, VA, Oct. 13, 2016 — Battelle and the U.S. Air Force‘s Life Cycle Management Center have entered into a cooperative research-and-development agreement for the development of an anti-icing technology for aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The agreement aims to create an ice protection technology with carbon nanotube dispersants to support unmanned aircraft system operations in any weather condition, Air Force said Tuesday.

Battelle will also leverage their collaboration with the Air Force for acquiring additional external funding through various proposals and grants.
