Navy Selects AT&T to Design, Construct Land Mobile Radio Comm Towers 


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 2, 2016 — The U.S. Navy has awarded AT&T (NYSE: T) an $11.3 million contract for the construction of five land mobile radio communication towers at the Marine Corps Mountain Warfare Training Center in California, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The Defense Department said Wednesday that 70- to 150-foot-high structures will be built by AT&T’s government solutions segment to provide a communications network for personnel training, mission critical users and first responders throughout MWTC and surrounding areas, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
