Lockheed Martin Rolls Out Japan’s 1st F-35A Jet

F-35TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 27, 2016 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has delivered Japan’s first F-35A fighter jet and marked the occasion in a ceremony that sought to highlight the Japan and U.S. defense alliance, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Friday F-35A maintenance training for the Japan Air Self Defense Force is ongoing at Eglin Air Force Base while pilot training is set to start in November.
