Inmarsat Demos Global Xpress Satcom-as-a-Service for Aeronautical Applications


inmarsat logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 13, 2016 — Inmarsat has worked with its Global Xpress partners and government end users to demonstrate a satellite-communications-as-a-service platform using different aeronautical scenarios, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company said Monday the demonstration works to verify the GX Satcom as a Service offering for government aero applications in support of wideband connectivity and user mobility.
