CAE Gets $91M in Contracts With USAF, Navy, Austrian Armed Forces; Gene Colabatistto Comments

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 14, 2016 — CAE (NYSE: CAE) has received approximately $91.2 million in contracts from the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy and Austria’s armed forces to provide aircrew training services and simulation system updates, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The company said Tuesday it will provide training on the MQ-1 Predator and MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft to the Air Force, update the Navy’s MH-60S Sierra and MH-60R Romeo training systems and deliver the latest CAE GESI command and staff training system to the Austrian military.

“Our large installed base of existing training devices and simulation systems provide ongoing upgrade and update opportunities along with long-term service and support business, ” said Gene Colabatistto,  president of CAE’s defense and security group.
