BAE, DRS Win Contracts to Produce Weapon Sights Tech for US Army


military in trainingBAE Systems‘ U.S. subsidiary and DRS Technologies have won separate multiyear contracts worth $384 million and $337.7 million, respectively, to provide crew-served weapon sights systems to the U.S. Army.

The military branch received three bids for the procurement program and will provide funds and performance locations upon issuance of each order, the Defense Department said Monday.

BAE Systems Inc.‘s information and electronic systems unit and DRS’ network and imaging systems division are scheduled to finish work under the contracts by Sept. 25, 2023.
