Vencore Secures USAF Contract for Energy Cyber Weapon Localization, Characterization


vencoreTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 2, 2016 — A subsidiary of Vencore will provide software that works to locate and characterize cyber weapons that attack the U.S. power grid under a $9 million contract from the U.S. Air Force, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Defense Department said Friday Vencore Labs will perform research and development work on the Scalable and Holistic Energy CybeR-weapon Localization and Characterization or SHERLOC platform.
