Boeing F-18 Super HornetBoeing (NYSE:BA) has secured a five-year, $203 million contract from Australia to provide a range of sustainment services for the Australian air force’s F/A-18F Super Hornet and EA-18G Growler aircraft, IHS Jane’s reported Thursday.

Jon Grevatt writes the Australian defense department said the contract covers engineering, supply chain management and maintenance services.

Raytheon (NYSE:RTN), Northrop Grumman (NYSE:NOC), Air Speed and Pacific Aerospace will serve as subcontractors under the deal, Grevatt reported.

The U.S. Navy awarded a $100.4 million contract modification to Boeing in July to supply long-lead parts and support services for Australia’s P-8A maritime patrol aircraft production.

The Boeing-built Super Hornet aircraft work to serve as a twin-engine, all-weather fighter jets that could land and take off from aircraft carriers while its Growler variant is designed to provide tactical jamming and electronic protection.
