Boeing Delivers Training System for South Korean AH-64E Apache Operators


ApacheTYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 24, 2016 — Boeing (NYSE: BA) has provided an Apache Longbow Crew Trainer to South Korea as part of a $1.6 billion contract to supply 36 attack helicopters and support services to the country’s army, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

The Longbow Crew Trainer employs flight simulation technology and seeks to help air crews of the South Korean army to prepare for AH-64E Apache Guardian helicopters that Boeing will begin to deliver later this year, the company said Monday.
