TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 22, 2016 — The U.S. Navy has awarded Sercos North American subsidiary a 10-month, $18.9 million task order to install command, control, communications, computers, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance systems aboard the USS Harry Truman aircraft carrier, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Wednesday Serco Inc. will assist the Navy to install the Consolidated Afloat Networks and Enterprise Services system and provide satellite communications and C4ISR system modernization services under the contract.

“This was an important win for our Defense Sector and the Ship Modernization market and has secured our position in supporting the U.S. Navy Fleet with World-Class installation services, ” said Dan Allen, Chairman and CEO of Serco Inc.

“I am proud of the services our team delivers each and every day in support of the Navy’s afloat and shore-based systems.”
