Air Force Awards 4 Spots on $90M Design, Construction Support IDIQ

constructionFour companies have won positions on a potential five-year, $90 million contract to provide performance-based design and construction support services to the U.S. Air Force.

Gideon Contracting, SP-JV, Weldin Construction and Pro-Mark Services will compete to perform the services at Offutt Air Force Base in Nebraska through July 21, 2021, the Defense Department said Friday.

The Air Force’s 55th contracting squadron awarded the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract through a competitive acquisition process with 11 proposals received.

The service branch will obligate $4, 000 from operations and maintenance funds for fiscal 2016 at the time of award, DoD said.

The U.S. Navy selected Serco Inc. to install a command, control, communications, computers and intelligence infrastructure as well as update information technology systems at a C2 facility located at Offutt Air Force Base under a potential four-year, $12 million contract.
