Iron Mountain: Agencies Should Address Skills Gap in Federal Info Management

Iron Mountain logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, June 7, 2016 — Iron Mountain (NYSE: IRM) has found that federal information management professionals anticipate increased demand for skills in information security, data quality management and analytics within the next five years, Executive Gov reported Friday.

The company said Wednesday its survey of 200 relevant government personnel also indicates a gap between their current skills and the projected skills demand in the future.

Iron Mountain noted that agencies should work to deliver professional development training, mentoring and collaboration opportunities to address the identified skills gap in the field of information management.
