Unisys, NEC Integrate Facial Recognition Tech for JFK Airport


biometricsTYSONS CORNER, VA, May 9, 2016 — Unisys (NYSE: UIS) has partnered with NEC Corporation of America to develop a facial recognition and comparison technology that will be deployed at the John F. Kennedy International Airport, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The team integrated NEC’s NeoFace Match software with the overall identity verification system at the airport in support of the Customs and Border Protection agency, NEC said Thursday.
