Lockheed’s Sikorsky Unit Completes Combat Rescue Air Vehicle Preliminary Design Review


lockheed martinTYSONS CORNER, VA, May 4, 2016 — Sikorsky, a subsidiary of Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT), has concluded the preliminary design review of the HH-60W Pave Hawk air vehicle under the Combat Rescue Helicopter program, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

Lockheed said Monday the program will now proceed to air vehicle and logistics system detailed design work and training system preliminary design review.

HH-60W, a variant of the UH-60 Black Hawk, will eventually replace the U.S. Air Force‘s HH-60G.
