KEYWÂ (Nasdaq: KEYW) has appointed Michael Alber, formerlyÂ chief financial officer at EngilityÂ (NYSE: EGL), as CFO and executive vice president.
AlberÂ will bring over three decades’ worth of corporate finance, accounting and administrative experience with federal government contractors.
Bill Weber, president and CEO of KEYW, said Alber’s financial operations experience in service- and technology-centric organizations will driveÂ the company’s effortsÂ to expand its presence in the U.S. intelligence and cyber communities.
Alber will replace the departing Philip Calamia — who plans toÂ pursue other opportunities — on June 13, the company said.
Alber also held several financial and executive positions for Alion Science and Technology, Â Science Applications International Corp.Â (NYSE: SAIC) and Network Solutions.
