Sutherland Exec: Shared Intell, Tech Investments to Support US Nat’l Security After Brussels Attacks

Sutherland Global ServicesTYSONS CORNER, VA, April 1, 2016 — Sutherland Global Services‘ vice president for government relations and marketing has said vigilance, intelligence sharing and technology investments can help the U.S. government protect what he calls “soft” targets, Executive Gov reported Thursday.

Chuck Brooks wrote in a guest piece published Monday on Federal Times that the terrorist attacks in Belgium call for action from the U.S. government to ensure national security despite the current absence of known terror plots.

“Increased vigilance, shared intelligence, continued specialized training and more investments in security technologies, canine detection capabilities and dedicated security personnel to patrol common spaces will all serve to make us safer, ” he said.
